Supports the development, implementation and management of strategic and tactical marketing programs for ARD to meet the financial goals and priorities of the university.
Manages an extensive portfolio of digital media, editorial, print and other projects in ARD Communications by serving as the liaison between creative staff and clients and between creative staff and external vendors.
Ensures timely completion of projects and provides all levels of support required by creative staff to deliver superb digital, editorial and design work within the context of branding guidelines.
Participates in the strategic, creative development, production and evaluation of client and partner communications and development campaigns.
Develops schedules and project plans based on ARD Communications sequence.
Tracks projects and workload throughout ARD Communications to make recommendations about resources, staffing, outsourcing and related matters.
Manages and documents projects from initial contact to delivery and evaluation.
Leads regular internal and client meetings as required by the complexity of projects.
Reports regularly on project status.
Seeks opportunities for professional development that will enhance job performance, including attending webinars, seminars, building networks within the University and with colleagues at peer institutions.
Assists with researching funding opportunities, preparing grant proposals, and drafting and/or editing other written materials with moderate guidance.
Maintains website (including but not limited to: employment page, news page, staff page, project pages, innovation challenge page).
Performs other related work as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Bachelorâ™s degree.
Experience:
Minimum two years of relevant professional work experience in a communications environment such as in-house corporate communications services, advertising agency, public relations firm, or similar professional work experience.
Experience working with creative staff, clients, printers, and other vendors.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Familiarity with project management software.
Understanding of integrated marketing social media, digital, event marketing, email marketing and print.
Demonstrated skill and knowledge of, or ability to learn quickly, the internal workings of the University as well as the technology tools available to the Office of Alumni Relations and Development including Phoenix, the University's donor relationship management system, and the Microsoft Windows environment.

Working Conditions
This position has a hybrid work schedule which includes weekly in office presence.
Standard office environment.
