Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, a Division I and Big Ten Conference member, is seeking to hire an Assistant Director of Strategic Communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Serve as the primary communications contact for the nationally-ranked men’s soccer, men’s gymnastics and women’s lacrosse programs. Facilitate social media for team accounts in line with department goals. Produce yearbooks, news releases and feature stories. Staff home events, and selected away events. Supervise student assistants, statistical crews, and other support personnel at events. Other duties as assigned.
