COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST, Corporate Relations/Industrial Liaison Program (ILP), to perform a variety of communications duties. Will maintain a content management system for ILP and Startup Exchange (STEX) websites, with specific responsibility for conference agendas, conference videos, and STEX event details; assist in curating web content; create and design print collateral; consistently promote established visual design/branding for Corporate Relations, ILP, and STEX; provide message development/strategic communications as needed; create PowerPoint decks for director and other program directors, direct social media strategy for ILP and STEX, review and assess Campaign Monitor analytics with regard to email campaigns and Google analytics with regard to ILP and Startup Exchange websites; submit weekly news to MIT campus news; provide editorial and proofing support; and provide day-of logistical support and social media coverage for events, both on campus and at remote locations.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or journalism; at least three years of communications experience; strong organizational and written and oral communication skills; experience working in team settings; and familiarity and/or proficiency with HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere (preferred), Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Drupal CMS, Hootsuite, Final Cut Pro, and a variety of social media platforms and management systems.
