The Missouri School of Journalism and Reynolds Journalism Institute invite candidates for a postdoctoral research fellowship in local news for a 24-month term-limited position beginning 8/19/2024. The researcher will join an ongoing initiative that, in collaboration with the MU Institute for Data Science & Informatics, is exploring community information needs and the provision of news in Missouri and around the country, and the development of scalable computational methods of local information ecosystem analysis.   Applications are welcome from scholars with demonstrated interest in local and rural news, information ecosystems, and news deserts.
