Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Practice in Science Communication
The Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno seeks a seasoned, innovative science journalist or academic to serve as the Reynolds Professor of Practice in Science Communication. This position is a 9-month, non-tenure track, academic year appointment, available at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, dependent upon experience. The position includes a support account and a graduate assistant. The starting date for the position is July 1, 2024. The Reynolds Professor of Practice in Science Communication will direct our Hitchcock Project for Visualizing Science, an interdisciplinary initiative that reimagines how we communicate science.
