Purpose KUT News is looking for a journalist to cover general news assignments in Travis County. They will create short, quick turnaround stories for web and radio. This includes a focus on breaking news and getting stories up on the web quickly.   Responsibilities Follows the news of the day, especially breaking news. Generates ideas, researches topics, writes, reports short turn-around stories for web and radio. Mixes radio stories for air.  Ensures that all content produced meets KUT standards of accuracy, fairness and balance.
