Position Information:Under the direction of the Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) Director, the Associate Director is responsible for the collection, analyses, policy interpretation as it pertains to undergraduate college admission, data management, and reporting of the Center for Educational and Community Outreach Programs (CECOP). Based on data analysis and reporting, the incumbent is responsible for making recommendations to CECOP Directors, school administrators, and managers regarding undergraduate admissions readiness. Occasional travel is required. The incumbent will work occasional weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and evenings to assist as needed with program events and activities.
The full salary range for the EAOP Associate Director position is $56,000 - $96,400 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $71,150 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

Minimum Requirements
Working knowledge of common organization- or research-specific and other computer application programs. Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Proficient in ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes. Proficient in ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality. Demonstrates ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns. Demonstrates ability to analyze, research and synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail. Working knowledge of applicable policy analysis techniques. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access. Knowledgeable about the postsecondary admission and financial aid processes and criteria, including but not limited to, A-G requirements, college entrance exams, FAFSA, scholarships, housing, and other resources for college success. Applicant must have knowledge and experience in data management, evaluation, and assessment tools.
Computer Literate; Strong working proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Qualtrics, and Google apps.
The candidate is required to have knowledge and experience working and managing Google Apps for Education.
Applicant must demonstrate proficiency in website design and management.

Key Responsibilities:
On a project basis, performs analytical studies on a variety of policies, research initiatives, programs and issues. 20%
Data management of Center for Educational and Community Outreach Programs (CECOP) which include: EAOP, K20 Alliances, SIP, and TRIO
Collaborate with the campus IT department or third-party vendor to ensure program technology is appropriate to provide quality services to program participants
Manage the programs online student application management system.
Collect and enter students demographic and academic data into the programs student data management systems
Maintain participants and program records in compliance with the U.S. Department of Education Guidelines and Standards required by UC Systemwide.
Develop electronic correspondence for participants, families, and school administrators.
Develop and manage infrastructure for the programs online resources 20%
Applies professional or research concepts to perform analysis of data and systems pertaining to moderately complex projects, policies, initiatives, processes, and/or functions. 15%
Gathers and assembles analytical and factual data on assigned problems and issues to prepare reports and/or analyses summarizing information on the assigned issues and commenting on other significance for internal or external constituents.
