Description:
This position works under the supervision of the Great Lakes ADA Center Associate Director. Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Center. Inclusive of assisting with maintaining records and reports and supporting the Center's training and technical assistance activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Format materials and supplemental handouts for webinars
Compiles and analyzes data and information, evaluates, and summarizes findings from online webinars
Coordinates the logistics and activities for specific projects or events, including but not limited to reasonable accommodations, technical support, etc.
Represents the unit on various committees within the ADA National Network as assigned
Participates in the hiring, training, supervising, and/or evaluating of student employees
Provide support to social media activities such as monitoring posts and collecting post outreach/engagement data
Schedules, assigns, reviews, and/or provides recommendations regarding work within the Center's programs
Provides program support and recommendations of procedures, technical specifications, and developments related to the Center's various projects
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree.
Over one (1) year of experience in providing administrative/program support in an academic setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience creating and managing accessible social media posts with specific experience working with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn
Experience creating/editing documents to ensure that they are accessible according to the minimum requirements of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3G 2.0)
