The Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS) is housed under the Office of Research on the UCI Campus. The UCI ICTS is one of 62 Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSAs) funded by the National Institutes of Health in the US. The ICTS mission is to improve health and healthcare by catalyzing translational research across the spectrum and by advancing the science of translation. To accomplish this mission, we provide a wide range of support services to researchers across the spectrum from basic research to population health research and everything in between. Our goal is simple: to accelerate discoveries from the lab and translate them into life-altering medical care and public health interventions. The Evaluation and Tracking Unit is comprised of four full-time staff who work under the direct supervision of a faculty researcher. The Evaluation and Tracking Team collects, analyzes, and reports on continuing quality improvement data that are used to inform programmatic decisions across the ICTS and to fulfill reporting obligations.
