Edits, manages, distributes and may create content for University communications, including WMU News, WMU Magazine, social media and executive communications.
Ensures content is strategically distributed through the most effective University channels to align with objectives and target audiences.
Guides content creators in developing compelling stories and visuals that elevate the University's brand messages.
Curates content from campus news and communication sites for broader distribution through WMU News and other channels, including social media.
Directs other communication projects as needed.
Short Job Description:
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years' relevant experience.
Experience working in a news-oriented environment as an editor, writer, producer or reporter.
