Position Information: Assist in the publicity and promotion of 17 Division I varsity sports with the Big West Conference with a comprehensive approach that will elevate and advance the program. Under the supervision of the Athletics Director, the incumbent will be responsible for the media coverage of assigned sports.
The salary range for the Assistant Director for Sports Communication, Digital, & Emerging Media is $66,500 - $92,400 annually. The expected pay scale for this position is up to $75,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

Ability to travel nights, weekends and a flexible work schedule.

Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English or related field with emphasis on writing.
