Job Overview
UC International serves more than 4,000 international students, the University's international faculty and staff, and students interested in study abroad. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will provide support for digital marketing and communication initiatives serving these diverse audiences, including creating content and monitoring daily social media activity and engagement. Responsibilities will include producing written and photo/video content for web, news, and print publications. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Associate Director of Marketing & Publications and will join an existing team who handle all UC International's marketing and communication needs.
This position will be for three years, and renewal is possible based on continued funding and satisfactory performance. Following 90 days of training, this position will also have the option of a hybrid work schedule (2 days in the office/3 days from home) for those with a residence within OH/IN/KY. Residence must be in the tri-state area within reasonable distance of UC Main Campus to have ability to report to campus as required. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies.
Essential Functions
- Create social media content, both written and photo/video, within brand, University, and department guidelines and messaging.
- Pursue leads, conduct interviews, and perform research to write articles, features, and stories for digital content.
- Assist with other storytelling and promotional efforts.
- Manage the digital marketing calendar.
- Monitor audience engagement and analytics.
- Help maintain internal and external websites, producing accessible digital content in compliance with sections 504 and 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree
- Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Additional Qualifications Considered
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or closely related fields.
- Strong writing skills; familiarity with web writing, journalism, or promotional copywriting.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and across departments.
- Ability to master digital tools and platforms used for content creation and publications, familiarity with content management systems and social media platforms.
- Ability to work effectively with visual content; familiarity with industry-standard graphic design tools (Adobe, Canvas).
- Excellent time management skills.

- Highly developed attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
