The Office of Research is seeking a highly motivated and organized research-oriented professional to serve as an Operations Specialist for a new position within the expanding Research Development team. Reporting to the Executive Director of Research Development, this position will support the Research Development Team with overall operations and communications. Primary activities will include the management of Office of Research Awareness information and training series and other research-related events; development of communications about Office of Research services; development and management of a periodic newsletter to communicate select Office of Research news; web development and management; and general operations management for the Research Development team.
The Operations Specialist will lead management of information sessions for Office of Research resources through the Office of Research Awareness series. This will include coordination with speakers, management of in-person or virtual logistics, tracking of registrations and attendance, compliance checking for University accessibility standards, new session development and facilitation, budget management for related programming expenses, and archiving of presentation information.
