The Office of Marketing and Communications at the University of Nevada, Reno seeks candidates for the Content Strategist/Editor-in-Chief position. The Content Strategist/Editor collaborates with various areas of the University community to develop and oversee content creation across the University’s news site, serving as the editor of Nevada Today (website), Nevada Weekly (email) and NSights (University blog). This position is responsible for managing the overall direction of the content, developing and enforcing content style guides and best practices, maintaining and promoting the use of editorial and event calendars, activating and training content contributors, rolling out and assisting with a variety of content strategies across mediums, and monitoring content performance.
