Report for America (RFA), a national service program that places talented, emerging journalists in local newsrooms to report for one to two years on under-covered topics, is looking to fill more than 200 reporting positions throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
Let us say that again: We are fielding more than TWO HUNDRED new reporting jobs in 2020! We will place journalists in 164 host news organizations to serve local communities across 46 states.
Our partner newsrooms are seeking reporters for a variety of beats, including state politics, education, health, social justice issues and minority neighborhoods.
RFA is committed to local news coverage and filling in the gaps in areas of the country where there are news deserts.
The deadline is Friday, Jan. 31. Here’s a full list of available jobs.
Report for America is an initiative of the GroundTruth Project.
