Senior Manager, Audience Development (SEO), News Digital

Role Summary:
The individual in this position will support audience development initiatives for NBC News Digital (specifically NBC News, TODAY and MSNBC). The person in this role will collaborate with editorial, product and tech teams across the brands to ensure best editorial practices and technical implementation of SEO.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Drive, develop and enhance our SEO strategy for NBC News Digital properties
• Develop and maintain a world-class SEO analytics stack (rank tracking, crawl reports, and competitive research)
• Responsible for developing and managing technical SEO projects; produce regular technical audits and execute on-page optimizations as needed
• Constantly track, analyze and report on overall SEO success with regards to traffic, rankings, content, backlinks and business performance
• Conduct SEO best practices trainings for the digital organization
• Day-to-day execution of organic search campaign projects such as keyword research, competitive research, content lookahead, real-time optimization, outreach strategy and site architecture improvements
• Collaborate with the editorial team to create high-quality content around important, relevant terms and events
• Keep abreast of the latest industry developments and news for SEO
