The Chief Operating Officer (COO) has overall operational management responsibility and financial oversight for the organization and must develop and implement strategies to maximize operational  efficiency and the continued financial health of ICIJ. The COO is responsible for oversight of ICIJ’s administrative functions, organizes and coordinates inter- and intra-departmental operations including finance, human resources and information technology/management as it relates to the operations. Responsibilities include: developing strategy and goals; implementing strategies that keep ICIJ’s staff aligned, focused,motivated, and high-performing; and modeling ICIJ’s values and encouraging the same from all team members.
